After Tamil Nadu, will India Alliance break in Jharkhand

Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : A rift within the ruling coalition may arise in Jharkhand with regard to the two Rajya Sabha seats in the state. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has stated it would put up candidates for both seats while the Indian National Congress, on late Wednesday evening on June 3 announced its nomination, that is Praveen Jha."The JMM will contest both seats in Jharkhand. There will be a press conference called by the JMM in Ranchi at 4.30 pm on Thursday," Supriyo Bhattacharya said.What is the numerical strength in Jharkhand Assembly?The present strength and number in Jharkhand Assembly are: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has 34 MLAs, Congress 16, RJD 4, CPI(M) (L) 2. The BJP has 21 MLAs while AJSU, JDU, LJP (Ram Vilas) has 1 each. The JKLM also has 1 MLA.For victory of its candidate the Congress will have the support of JMM and RJD.The last date for filing of nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections is June 8. Scrutiny of nominations will be held on June 9, while withdrawal of nominations will be up to June 11. Polling, if required, will be held on June 18, while results will be announced on the same evening.
