Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly sold two luxury apartments in Mumbai's Goregaon area for a significant sum of ₹12 crore. The properties are located in a high-rise residential complex and were purchased in 2021 as part of an investment.The transaction for both apartments was officially registered on September 5th. One of the apartments, situated on the 32nd floor, spans approximately 1,227 square feet and was sold for ₹5.98 crore. The second apartment, on the 33rd floor, with a similar area of 1,227 square feet, fetched ₹6.01 crore. Both properties were acquired by the same individual, identified as Nageshwar Reddy Munnangi.While the megastar invested in these properties a few years ago, the recent sale has garnered attention in the real estate market. The deal comes with substantial stamp duty payments, with ₹29.93 lakh paid for the 33rd-floor apartment and ₹29.80 lakh for the one on the 32nd floor, as per registration documents. Amitabh Bachchan continues to maintain a diverse and extensive real estate portfolio, including his well-known bungalows in Juhu like 'Jalsa' and 'Prateeksha'.
