As always, the quiz show is creating quite a buzz among the fans. But do you know how much Big B is charging to host a show nowadays? Reports suggest that he has become the highest paid host. Amitabh Bachchan is said to be charging Rs 5 crore per episode for KBC 17, as claimed in the report from Siasat. Since KBC is airing 5 episodes a week, this means Amitabh will cumulatively earn 25 crores in a single week. We do not confirm the actor’s fees. Discussions are emerging that with this fee, Amitabh pays Salman kahan the amount he was charging him for hosting the show and has become the king of privatizing television hosting. The last we heard, Salman charged 12 crores for the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2 which means he earned 24 crores for 1 week. Currently, Amitabh and Salman are the only Bollywood stars commanding such heavy amounts for hosting television shows. Amitabh has been associated with Kaun Banega Crorepati over the years, and the premiere for the latest season is set for August 11.There are rumors that Bigg Boss 19 will begin in the last week of August. Salman Khan will serve as the host once again.
