The non-banking financial company (NBFC) has submitted its Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on August 13, seeking regulatory approval to raise ₹3,000 crore from the primary market. Svatantra Microfin's IPO will comprise a fresh issue of shares aggregating up to ₹1,500 crore.
