Another BLO commits suicide in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee says stop it immediately sir

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who has been opposing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process of the electoral rolls, has expressed deep grief over the suicide of Rinku Tarafdar, a Block Level Officer (BLO) in Nadia district, and demanded an immediate ban on the SIR.The Trinamool Congress (TMC) said, "Deeply shocked to learn of the death of another woman BLO para-teacher who committed suicide in Krishnanagar. The suicide note, written by the woman, Mrs. Rinku Tarafdar, blamed the ECI before taking her own life at her home." The Chief Minister is also the head of the TMC.The Chief Minister asked, "How many more lives will be lost? How many more people need to die for SIR? How many more bodies will we have to see for this process? This has become really worrying now." The ruling TMC expressed shock and said that another life had been wasted due to "inhuman administrative pressure, deadlines and the constant fear of punishment for minor mistakes."The TMC said that Rinku Tarafdar, a BLO from Sasthitala in Nadia, had suffered a mental breakdown and was in an unbearable state. "The Election Commission's cumbersome digital process, timelines, fear of punishment, and round-the-clock surveillance imposed on our staff is a form of mental torture and is completely unacceptable," the party statement said. The TMC also blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the current situation surrounding the SIR process.
