unfulfilled promises from the nation Kharge continued to unambiguously expose the failings of the Prime Minister. “Modi talks of congress because he himself has forgotten demonetisation, unfulfilled promises on black money, the promise of two crore jobs and MSP (minimum support price) to farmers, and guaranteed supports on farmers. Kharge declared, "Modi is the chief of liars. He lies everywhere he goes." “Modi talks of congress because he himself has forgotten demonetisation, unfulfilled promises on black money, the promise of two crore jobs and MSP (minimum support price) to farmers, guaranteed supports on farmers. Kharge added, "Modi has failed on all these promises, and now he has one crore jobs to fool people." As "for the last 11 years of your term that promise is still unfulfilled. Kharge added, "Modi lies all the time." Kharge explained, despite 11 years of rule, the promise of two crore jobs is still unfulfilled, and now he lies of promise of one crore jobs.During a recent roadshow by Prime Minister Modi in Patna, Kharge commented on Nitish Kumar's absence as a possible consequence of political strategizing within the NDA. As Kharge commented on the peculiar absence of the state's Chief Minister at key NDA functions, he noted how impressive pictures from the roadshow the previous day featured the Prime Minister, but there was no sign of Nitish Kumar. Kharge noted how even at the rally, Kumar appeared more of an afterthought, as the BJP seemed to actively diminish Kumar's role. Kharge asked what this might imply on the future of Bihar's politics after polls, and on Modi's apparent strategy to make Kumar's presence politically irrelevant. Kharge also expressed concerns over Nitish Kumar's political record as a Chief Minister with sworn tenures and suggested he has not facilitated tangible transformation for Bihar over the years. In addition, Kharge critiqued the state government’s latest initiative, where Rs. 10,000 was sent to the bank accounts of women under a financial assistance program. Kharge emphasized this was an election gimmick, and he trusted the people of Bihar enough to see through it. The Congress chief asked why Nitish Kumar and PM Modi had not thought of such schemes during Kumar’s twenty years of rule and Modi’s eleven years as PM, calling the schemes hollow election promises aimed at deceiving the electorate.Bihar will hold its assembly elections in two phases, on November 6 and 11, for 243 seats, and the results will be announced on November 14.
