She heard the shooting at the hospital and then realized that the terrorists had already barged into the hospital building after killing the security guards. At that moment, she knew she had to do something. Kulthe called all the 20 pregnant ladies in her ward and took them to a small pantry where they could hide and wait for the chaos to end. The lights were turned off, mobile phones were switched off and they had to sit in the dark. However, Kulthe never left the patients alone. While danger lurked inside the hospital, she decided to stay with the patients. How Anjali Kulthe saved pregnant ladies: The tension had increased when a case of pre-eclampsia patient who was in labor, a high-risk patient who was suffering from hypertension, turned up. The shooting at the hospital building did not let doctors come to her ward. In such a tense atmosphere, Kulthe came to the rescue of the woman. She had taken the woman to the labor room, carefully avoiding taking the risk, and climbed the stairs along the wall. The next morning the woman delivered a baby girl and Kulthe named her as Goli to commemorate the horrific night on which the baby was born.
