BJP is fully prepared; the opposition should get ready—we will spring the surprise: Keshav Prasad Maurya

Speaking to the press today, Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that the INDI Alliance has disintegrated and lacks any semblance of unity. He remarked that the entire nation has witnessed how this "hodgepodge coalition" (likened to a chaotic, mismatched gathering) fell apart after being cobbled together. He added that while opposition parties are free to voice their demands—and no one would stop them from doing so—the public is observing and understanding the situation clearly.Mr. Maurya noted that opposition parties blame the Election Commission and EVMs when they lose elections, yet when they do win, they attempt to attribute it to a decline in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popularity or a drop in his political standing. He asserted that the public would provide the real answer, specifically through their votes in the 2027 assembly elections. The Deputy Chief Minister declared, "We will spring a surprise"; the Bharatiya Janata Party is fully prepared. He added that while opposition parties make their own preparations, the BJP has its own strategy in place. He stated that both the central and state governments are continuously working towards social upliftment, development, education, and addressing the needs and challenges faced by the common people. The government aims to improve the standard of living for every section of society—including farmers, youth, women, Dalits, the backward classes, and the poor—and ensure that the benefits of development reach the most marginalized. The "double-engine government" will continue to work with full commitment, driven by its resolve for public welfare and development.
