
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Varanasi on Thursday to conduct a thorough on-site inspection of the arrangements being made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency. The Chief Minister's review focused on the Varanasi Railway Station, from where the Prime Minister is scheduled to flag off four new Vande Bharat Express trains, including the significant Varanasi-Khajuraho service, on November 8.During his visit, Chief Minister Adityanath met with senior officials from both the railway and the district administration. He issued stern instructions to ensure that all preparations are completed on time and are flawless. Adityanath emphasized the importance of maintaining excellent cleanliness, beautification, security, and traffic management at the station and throughout the city for the duration of the high-profile visit. He stressed that no lapses in the arrangements would be tolerated and called for seamless coordination among all departments involved.Prime Minister Modi is expected to arrive in Varanasi on the evening of November 7. Besides the train inaugurations, he is also anticipated to hold meetings with senior BJP leaders and review the progress of major ongoing development projects in the city, such as the new international cricket stadium in Ganjari and the ambitious ropeway project. The Chief Minister's personal oversight is seen as a crucial step to ensure the success of the Prime Minister's packed itinerary.
