Contractor paid lakhs... ACB to investigate corruption in Sohna's Bhagat Singh Fountain Square

Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : The construction of the Balidani Bhagat Singh Fountain Chowk has become controversial. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) will investigate irregularities in the construction. A complaint regarding this matter has been filed with the bureau.All documents related to the case have been requested from the complainant. If the documents confirm irregularities in the actions of the complainant, action will be taken against the officials responsible for the actions.It is worth noting that approximately three years ago, the Municipal Council planned to beautify Sohna's historic and ancient Fountain Square. This plan included the construction of a culvert, the beautification of the fountain, and the construction of three main gates. A total of ₹25 million was to be spent on this project. A private agency was awarded the contract for this work in July 2023.The construction project was scheduled to be completed within one year, but the agency failed to complete the work on time. Furthermore, several complaints surfaced regarding defects in the construction work. These complaints were reported to Municipal Council officials and SDM Sohna.It is alleged that the agency was paid millions of rupees from council funds before the work was even completed. The Anti-Corruption Bureau has sought relevant documents from complainant Amit Garg in this case.Amit Garg says that the ACB investigation will reveal the full truth of the matter. There were many irregularities in the construction work. Action should be taken against all those responsible.
