The forecast has many residents looking forward to a break from the oppressive humidity and heat that has dominated the city lately.Saturday, August 23, will see overcast skies and a strong chance of intense rain, promising the long-anticipated relief. The IMD continues to forecast rain for the following days, advising the public to prepare for further showers on August 24 and 25. The warning does not stop there; additional alerts for thunder and lightning on August 26 and 27 have also been issued to keep everyone informed of potential storms.Supporting the IMD’s predictions, Skymet also expects moderate to heavy rainfall in Delhi from August 22 to August 26. The agency adds that the heaviest and most widespread rain will likely fall between August 23 and 25.
