Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has also been excluded from the ODI squad due to the upcoming T20 World Cup and his workload management. A BCCI media release stated that since Hardik has not received permission from the CoE to bowl 10 overs in a match, his workload is being managed with the upcoming T20 World Cup in mind."The BCCI CoE has not permitted Hardik Pandya to bowl 10 overs in a match and his workload is being managed in view of the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup," the BCCI said in a statement.All-rounder Hardik Pandya smashed a blistering 133 off 92 balls, hitting 11 sixes, against Vidarbha in the Elite Group B match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Saturday. The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and New Zealand will be played in Vadodara on January 11th. The matches will be followed by matches in Rajkot on January 14th and Indore on January 18th. Following the ODI series, India will also play a five-match T20I series against New Zealand, beginning in Nagpur on January 21st. The Indian squad for the T20I series has already been announced, and this same squad will also play in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
