Directives issued to all CDOs and Principal Secretaries to conduct the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ (Fortnight of Service) program from September 17 to October 17 – Keshav Prasad Maurya

An online meeting of the Rural Development Department was convened under the chairmanship of Keshav Prasad Maurya. All Chief Development Officers, District Development Officers, Project Directors (Rural Development), and Deputy Commissioners (Rural Development) from across the state joined virtually, while the Principal Secretary (Rural Development), Mission Director, Joint Mission Director, and other departmental officials were also present.Key points and guidelines from the meeting:Detailed action plan for every village: The Deputy Chief Minister directed all Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Village Development Officers to prepare detailed action plans for the proposed programs in every village and ensure their time-bound implementation.Proposed key programs: During the fortnight, programs such as ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’, ‘Bachchon Ke Sapno Ka Bharat’, ‘Namo Seva Data’, ‘Aangan Ka Utsav’, ‘Kahani Badlav Ki’, ‘Viksit Bharat Yatra’, ‘Seva Jyoti Installation’, ‘Vadnagar Se Varanasi Seva Yatra’, ‘Seva Mera Yogdan’, ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’, ‘Seva Ke Rang Rashtra Ke Sang’, ‘National Innovation Challenge’, ‘Janseva Mahakumbh’, and ‘Sushasan Samvad’ will be organized.Active public participation: Active participation of local public representatives, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), youth, women, farmers, and the general public must be ensured. Every citizen should be motivated to play a role in nation-building through the ‘Seva Mera Yogdan’ initiative.Focus on youth and innovation: Special emphasis should be placed on strengthening the spirit of service in rural areas, encouraging youth to transition from ‘job seekers’ to ‘job providers’, and fostering innovation.Regular review: Officials were instructed to regularly review all programs and submit progress reports to the government.
