Let us explain the whole story of Mother Sati's Sati in this article in detail. The story of Mata Sati and Prajapati DakshaAs per legends, Prajapati Daksha had organised a grand yajna at Kankhal. He invited gods, goddesses, sages, saints and kings but he deliberately avoided inviting his daughter Mata Sati and Mahadev. On seeing the gods, goddesses, saints and sages at yagna, Mother Sati expressed her desire to attend. Mahadev however told her that going to a yagna without an invitation is not good, even if that yagna is at one's own father's place.
