Doctors are like gods to society; the government is committed to ensuring their safety and respect: Keshav Prasad Maurya

Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya conferred special honors upon eight physicians during the Indian Medical Association’s (IMA) annual function and award distribution ceremony. He stated that physicians must be provided with a safe and conducive environment to perform their duties fearlessly. A positive approach is essential for addressing the practical challenges encountered in the operation of hospitals, as well as issues related to obtaining necessary permits and other operational concerns. At the same time, medical institutions must strictly adhere to established standards and prioritize the interests of their patients. The government remains committed to resolving the challenges faced by physicians and improving the quality of medical services. He commended the efforts of IMA Lucknow in areas such as medical education, expert lectures, rural health camps, blood donation drives, CPR training, cancer awareness, and physician welfare.
