Therefore, Hartalika Teej will be observed on August 26.Things to Remember for Ganesh Chaturthi WorshipWhile observing Ganesh Chaturthi, it’s essential to install the idol of Ganesha in the proper direction. The idol should face the north direction and be placed in the north-east corner of the home. Avoid worshipping with a broken idol, even accidentally, as this is considered inauspicious. If a broken idol is brought home, do not install it. Also, do not offer Tulsi leaves, since Ganesh ji prefers Durva grass and Gandha flowers.
