New Vande Bharat: Good news for the people of the district. They won't have to wait long to board the country's first semi high speed train, Vande Bharat, as it's shortly set to operate from Jamalpur Junction to Howrah. Munger MP cum Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan (Lallan Singh) had, just a week ago, extended a request to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav to extend the Howrah-Bhagalpur Vande Bharat to Jamalpur. The Union Minister’s move has been approved by the Railway Ministry, and along with it the schedule has been published as well. It is expected that very soon, the trains will operate from Jamalpur to Howrah. With the introduction of the Vande Bharat, the total trains from Jamalpur to Howrah will increase to five. Currently, four express trains operate towards Howrah. In fact, the MP cum Union Minister earlier, along with the Railway Minister, had discussion on extending the Bhagalpur-Howrah Vande Bharat to Jamalpur and had pointed that the move would greatly aid the people Munger division. It will also greatly benefit local businesses. After these discussions, the Railway Minister gave the necessary directives.We honor our commitments: Lallan SinghThe Vande Bharat train is currently operational between Howrah and Bhagalpur, and in consideration of the local sentiments, Lallan Singh had requested the Railway Minister to stretch its operation to Jamalpur. The Railway Minister also granted the assurance that the Howrah-Bhagalpur Vande Bharat would soon be extended to Jamalpur.The railway authorities have published the schedule for the extension, and soon, Vande Bharat Express trains will be operational to Jamalpur. People from Jamalpur, Munger, and the neighboring regions will also be able to reap its benefits.As per the Union Minister, Jamalpur is now benefitting with the Udan scheme as the district has gained an additional train connectivity to West Bengal. This will be of great help to the traders in the area. The expression of gratitude towards the Railway Minister for this was also accompanied by the assurance that the MP keeps his promises.Train Number 22309-10 Time TableTrain number 22309 up will depart from Howrah at 7.45 am. It is scheduled to reach Bolpur Shanti Niketan at 9.13 am, Rampurhat station at 10 am, Dumka at 11.05, Naunihat at 11.32, Hansdiha at 11.50, Mandarhill at 12.12, Barahat at 12.30, Bhagalpur at 1.15 pm, and Jamalpur at 2.15 pm.Also, Vande Bharat Express train number 22310 down will depart from Jamalpur at 3.30 pm. It will reach Bhagalpur at 4.22, Barahat at 5.02, Mandarhill at 5.16, Hansdiha at 5.38, Naunihat at 5.53, Dumka at 6.25, Rampur Hat at 7.18, Bolpur Shanti Niketan at 7.56, and Howrah at 10.05.
