Good news for Haryana youth! Apply for Group D CET today; opportunities will be available until July 3rd

Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : A big relief has come today (Thursday) afternoon for lakhs of youth who have been waiting for 3 years for the application to fill out the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Class IV (Group-D) posts in Haryana. Actually, Haryana Staff Selection Commission has issued its notification.Applications will be filled on the portal from this morning (Friday) and on this, the youth can fill the form till 11:59 on July 3. On the other hand, fees can be submitted till July 6. If there is any mistake in the form, the correction portal will be opened from July 7 to 9 and the form can be corrected.Himmat Singh, Chairman, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, told that the dates for examination and admit card will be released later. BC-A, BC-B and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) will be required to have a certificate issued after April 1 and its validity till the last date of application. Disadvantaged Scheduled Caste (DSC) and Other Scheduled Caste (OSC) will have to issue a certificate after November 13, 2024. Disabled and ESP will have to produce a valid certificate on the last date of application. ESP beneficiaries will have to obtain a certificate issued after June 20, 2025. All the advertisements and details related to eligibility will be available on the website of the commission.Will not get 10 socio-economic marks this timeThe state government has made changes in the rules for filling the posts under the Haryana Group D cadre. All posts of class four will be filled on the basis of CET examination. No more than 10 marks for socio-economic conditions will be given. The minimum educational qualification will also be based on the CET exam. In this method, CET marks will get 100% credit for the posts from 10th grade onwards, while a maximum of 10 socio-economic marks will be given for posts with a minimum education of less than 10th.Syllabus of the exam will be divided into two partsThere will be two papers for CET for class 4th. 75% of the marks will be allocated for common awareness, general reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English, Hindi, etc. While the remaining 25% will be allocated for history, current affairs, literature, geography, environment, and culture of Haryana. The question paper will be based on Secondary Education i.e. Matriculation standard. About 15 lakh applications will be filled by youth. Last year, 1345 million young people had applied for class 3rd posts CET. It is estimated that 15 lakh to 2 million youth will fill the application forms for class IV posts. The government has declared to conduct CET every year, but due to Corona, only 2 CETs have been conducted in the last four years. CET for Class 4th was previously conducted in 2023.
