
Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain today suggested that the proposed “Bihar Youth Resilience and Civic Leadership Mission” of NCC Udaan be implemented initially as a pilot project in selected colleges and universities across the state.The proposal was presented before the Governor through a PowerPoint presentation at the Bihar Lok Bhavan in Patna.During the presentation, the Governor recommended that the mission be launched on a pilot basis in select higher educational institutions. He said the programme's future expansion to other colleges and universities in Bihar should be considered after assessing its impact, reviewing feedback from participating institutions, and evaluating the overall outcomes of the pilot phase.Hasnain also appreciated the efforts of NCC Udaan volunteers, who have been engaged for years in social service, educational initiatives, disaster management, road safety awareness, and community welfare activities.The presentation outlined a comprehensive framework aimed at establishing Campus Emergency Response Teams in educational institutions, promoting student leadership development, disaster preparedness, road safety awareness, environmental conservation, and community service.NCC Udaan representatives also shared their vision of creating a strong network of trained student volunteers across colleges and universities in Bihar. The initiative is intended to provide young people with opportunities to develop leadership skills, engage in public service, and strengthen their sense of social responsibility.
