The infamous bride-robber case in Tikri village of the area took a new and interesting turn on Saturday when the woman accused of the case arrived at the police station and told the police her story. He had helped her with approximately 19,000 rupees during her mother's treatment. During this time, she stayed with him for four or five days. She alleges that one of Hargyan's friends, under the influence of alcohol, made indecent advances toward her, leaving her uncomfortable. According to the woman, Hargyan himself later dropped her off in Delhi.The woman reached the police station to give clarification .The woman said that when news circulated on the internet media calling her a bride-robber, she went to the police station to explain herself. Earlier, Hargyan Singh, a resident of Tikri village, had filed a complaint at the police station, alleging that women were sent with him twice as brides, who fled with gold, silver, and cash from the house. According to the victim, she was defrauded of approximately ₹2.70 lakh through various means.Based on Hargyan's complaint, the police registered a case against Kehar Singh, Mahesh, Vishan, Azad, Gamman, and a woman under various sections, including fraud and assault. The case is being investigated based on statements from both parties.
