
Actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty have spoken candidly about the difficult period they faced after 2020, revealing that the lack of professional opportunities ultimately led them to build a business together.During a conversation on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi's chat show 'Double Date', Rhea and Showik shared their experiences of difficult times in life, family relationships and business partnerships.Rhea said that working with a sibling isn't easy, as it's challenging to balance personal and professional relationships. She said, “If you're already upset about something at home, and then a small mistake happens at work, it seems much bigger.”She said that in the initial days of the business, there were frequent arguments between the two. The actress said, “It was very difficult for us in the beginning. Sometimes Showik would say as he was leaving the room that he was leaving the house.”However, Rhea believes things have improved since Showik started living separately. She said, “We spend all day together at the office, so having our own space at home has created a better balance.”The 33-year-old actress said the biggest advantage of working with family is trust. She added that watching her younger brother become the CEO of their company, Chapter 2, has been a special experience.Rhea also made an interesting revelation about the company's name. She revealed that she initially wanted to name it"Witch's Revenge." Later, they considered "Black Sheep," as they both felt like "black sheep" in society at the time. Ultimately, they chose "Chapter 2," which symbolised a new beginning in their lives.Shovik said he started this business because he had no other options at the time. He said he had enrolled in an MBA the same year he was arrested and had scored 97 per cent.“After 2020, I stopped getting work. No one was signing me, and no one was offering her a job either,” she said.Both acknowledged that their support and mutual trust were their greatest strengths during difficult times. They said that balancing their sibling relationship and professional responsibilities wasn't easy, but their support and trust kept them going.
