India's Bullet Train Dream on Track : First Section to Open in 2027, Says Minister

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced a definitive timeline for the launch of India's highly anticipated first bullet train. The inaugural service is scheduled to commence in August 2027, marking a significant milestone in the country's transportation infrastructure.Providing specific details about the project's initial phase, the minister stated that the first section of the bullet train will cover a distance of 100 kilometers in Gujarat, connecting the cities of Surat and Vapi.
