Both the seats had become vacant following the death of Shibu Soren and the retirement of Deepak Prakash. From June 1 to June 8 will be the nominations, on June 18 will be the voting and counting. There is a high level of suspense regarding the candidate names of both the alliances. Discussion is going on with respect to candidates; 28 votes are required to win the seat, with the incumbent JMM-led All India Alliance being in the sure position to win two seats with 56 MLAs. With 24 MLAs,NDA will have to acquire 4 more seats to win just 1 seat. Political experts claim that they have to rely on cross voting by independents and others, the NDA will have to manage 4 more votes if they want to fight 1 seat in the election; let's see if the NDA can make a come back in the elections with the total of 24 MLAs.
