Reliance Jio is adding free OTT subscriptions for users who choose recharge plans below ₹500. Their OTT subscriptions offer users numerous digital entertainment options for free. The telecom giant is now offering multiple economical plans with bundled entertainment options. For example, a ₹175 data-only plan now comes with 10GB data for 28 days of validity and offers access to 12 OTT platforms including Sony LIV, ZEE5, Discovery+, and Sun NXT, all of which can be accessed via JioTV Mobile App. Another example is the ₹329 plan which also offers 1.5GB of data per day for 28 days, includes a JioSaavn Pro subscription, and access to JioTV and JioAICloud apps. For a more comprehensive entertainment offering, plans priced around ₹445 offer 2GB of daily data for 28 days, 10 OTT subscriptions, and a 90-day Disney+ Hotstar Mobile/TV subscription.These plans are catered to enhance the value offered to subscribers especially in the lower segment. By combining no cost OTT services, Jio seeks to satisfy the need for digital content in the evergrowing competitive telecom industry. Users can purchase and activate these plans through the MyJio application or through Jio’s registered partners.
