Kolhan University Streamlines 2026-27 Academic Calendar for Timely Exams Under NEP 2020, PG Admission

In a major administrative push to regulate academic sessions and prioritize student welfare, Kolhan University has officially released its comprehensive academic and examination calendar for the 2026-27 session in strict alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Designed to eliminate historic delays and ensure timely academic progression, the newly structured calendar outlines precise schedules for student enrollments, regular class operations, internal assessments, semester examinations, and result publications. Alongside this structural overhaul, the university has also brought relief to postgraduate aspirants by officially extending the PG admission deadline to August 14, 2026.Key Exam Schedules and NEP 2020 ImplementationUnder the newly enforced examination framework, academic activities will run like clockwork to safeguard students' higher education timelines and future employment prospects. According to the released schedule, the mid-semester one examinations for the undergraduate 2026-30 session are slated for the second week of September, with the final semester one examinations scheduled to take place in December. Moving into the next phase, the semester two final examinations will be conducted in May 2027. Kolhan University Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Anjila Gupta emphasized that the institution is fully committed to maintaining strict compliance, urging all department heads, college principals, teachers, and administrative officials to adhere strictly to the prescribed calendar.PG Admission Window Extended: Apply Online Until August 14In a separate official notification issued by the university's Examination Department and Dean of Academic Affairs, the online application and enrollment timeline for postgraduate (PG) admissions for the 2025-27 session has been extended. Eligible students can now submit their applications online through the official Chancellor's portal starting from August 5 through August 14, 2026. Following the closure of the application window, the university has scheduled the publication of merit lists and the subsequent offline/online enrollment process across respective university departments and affiliated colleges to run from August 17 to August 22, ensuring a transparent and structured admission process under NEP 2020 guidelines.
