After seeing this,lord Shiva ran and all the gods became worried and then he went to Vishnu and informed him about the condition, after hearing which Vishnu took the form of Mohini so that people are saved.How did Bhasmasura die.Lord Vishnu's form of Mohini was soattractive,that Bhasmasur completely forgot everything and he got mesmerized,when he reached Mohini he offered her to marry him but Mohini said that, I will only marry with a dancer who is as good dancer as I am, Bhasmasur wanted to learn the dance and put her hand over Mohini's shoulder,after putting his hand over his head he became ashes.It is believed that the cave in which Lord Shiva was hiding from Bhasmasura is now called Guptdham.
