
Mahindra is building anticipation for its upcoming electric vehicle lineup with a new teaser showcasing the XEV 9S.This vehicle is poised to be the brand's first all-electric three-row SUV, marking a significant step in its electric mobility journey.Set for a global debut on November 27, the XEV 9S is expected to blend family-friendly practicality with a sophisticated, pure-electric heart.The upcoming seven-seater electric SUV is built on Mahindra's advanced INGLO skateboard platform, which is designed to maximize interior space and structural rigidity. This dedicated EV architecture allows for a completely flat floor, a sliding second row for flexible seating configurations, and even a functional frunk under the bonnet for extra storageThe exterior design is expected to be a blend of the familiar XUV700 silhouette with EV-specific cues like a closed-off grille and slim, full-width LED light barsInside, the XEV 9S promises a futuristic and premium experience. Teasers have confirmed a tech-rich cabin featuring a stunning triple-screen dashboard layout, similar to the one seen in the XEV 9e coupe-SUV.[6] This setup includes a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment unit, and a dedicated screen for the front passenger.[1] Other confirmed premium features include a Harman Kardon sound system, a power-adjustable driver's seat with memory function, and a panoramic sunroof.The SUV is also expected to come with ventilated and massaging front seats, multi-zone climate control, and wireless chargingOn the powertrain front, while exact specifications are yet to be confirmed, the XEV 9S is likely to share its battery options with other INGLO-based models.
