As many as 8 people from the family of Vivek Agarwal, residing in Sector 46 of Gurugram have died in the incident whereas Radheshyam Agarwal, the head of the family, survived as he had to be admitted in the hospital. Reportedly, Radheshyam Agarwal had been admitted to the Max Saket hospital from a few days now and family members were residing in Delhi for his care.They were staying in Flourish Stay Hotel in Hauz Rani on Wednesday (June 3) which caught fire and consumed all the family members.The deceased are Chartered Accountant Vivek Agarwal and his wife Tarjani Agarwal, his mother Premlata Agarwal and his daughters Jivisha and Varya Agarwal alias Pearl, along with three other family members. The deceased wife of Vivek Agarwal, Tarjani Agarwal, founded a company namely ‘Valoura Events’ this year itself. She also won Mrs. India 2023 pageant. Their eldest daughter Jivisha, was studying graduation while their youngest daughter, 15-year-old Varya Agarwal alias Pearl was a student of 11th grade. Vivek Agarwal's mother, Premlata Agarwal, was a homemaker.Malviya Nagar fire: 11 foreigners, 10 Indians killed, hotel owner arrested, fire safety campaign to beginVivek's tenants reached the hospital immediately after receiving the news.Vivek Agarwal's tenant, Virendra Singh told ABP News that he reached the hospital immediately after receiving the news of the incident and was told by the officials that eight family members of Vivek Agarwal were dead. He said, "Everyone is in shock."
