Bhojpuri actor and politician Manoj Tiwari shared a deeply personal reflection on the industry while attending the Indian National Cine Academy launch in Mumbai. During his speech Tiwari discussed a significant moment from his early career when one of his films was produced with a modest budget of thirty lakh rupees but eventually grossed an impressive fifty four crore rupees. He expressed deep sadness that despite this massive financial achievement and popularity neither the director nor the writer of the movie were recognized with any awards at that time. Tiwari noted that while the film Sasura Bada Paisawala served as a major turning point for Bhojpuri cinema the talent behind its creation remained unrewarded. He spoke highly of the newly established Indian National Cine Academy suggesting it will bridge this gap by providing a transparent and fair platform for artists across all languages. The founder of the academy Vishnu Vardhan Induri added that the institution aims to create a unified database and a national standard for celebrating cinematic excellence. Tiwari is hopeful that this step will ensure creative professionals receive the respect and validation they deserve regardless of the industry or language they work in.
