Masked thugs murder sleeping couple in their home in horror incident in Jharkhand

Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : A horrific incident has occurred in Giridih in Jharkhand. In a gruesome murder, criminals hacked a laborer couple to death in Tiriltand village, in Chhachhandho Panchayat, in Madhuban police station area, late on Tuesday night. The laborer, 35-year-old Patia Hansda, succumbed to a sharp weapon attack while still on the spot, while his wife Parni Devi, 30, died while undergoing treatment in Dhanbad. The entire village is steeped in mourning and terror following this incident.Sources said Patia Hansda worked as a laborer in a coal mine in the district of Dhanbad. On Tuesday night, he returned from work and, after his dinner, he and his wife were sleeping in the courtyard of their house. Around midnight, masked criminals attacked the couple with sharp weapons and severely injured both, following which they fled. Villagers say when they emerged on hearing screams, two or three suspects with their faces masked were seen running away. The Madhuban police, on receiving information, arrived at the village at 3am and sent the injured couple to the hospital. They declared Patia Hansda dead and referred Parni Devi, in critical condition, to Dhanbad where she also succumbed to her injuries.There was no road; he was taken to hospital on a cotVillagers stated that there was no metalled road to the village and hence the ambulance did not reach the village and the injured couple was carried on a cot by the villagers to the main road. The dead couple had four young children.Four children lost both their parents, distraught at the demiseThe family is mourning. However, the motive of murder or even the identification of the killers could not be established yet. Police said they were investigating the matter at full speed. The Dumri MLA Jairam Mahato and JMM leader Raju Mahato too had reached the village after coming to know of the murder and sympathized with the victim family. The MLA assured the victims’ family of government compensation and efforts for a concrete road. SDPO Abid Khan said that they are probing the matter on an emergency basis. The post mortems are being conducted on the bodies and attempts will be made to solve the crime as soon as possible.
