Rain Alert, Weather Update, 8 October: Changes are coming for South India weather once again. Over the next four to five days, South Indian states will see an increase in rainfall activity, some areas will see heavy rainfall. states such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Mahe, and Andhra Pradesh will experience five days of heavy rainfall. Meanwhile, for the next two to three days, conditions are suited for the withdrawal of the southwest monsoon in the remainder of Gujarat, parts of Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh, as well as some areas of Maharashtra.In the case of South India, meteorological forecasts predict the possible occurrence of light to moderate rain along with thundershowers, and heavy downpours at isolated locations, especially in Tamil Nadu and Kerala and Mahe for the period of October 8 to 12, and in South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam from October 8 to 10, and in Telangana for October 8, and in Coastal Karnataka until October 10. Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Mahe, and Telangana regions will continue to witness thunderstorms with strong winds over the next five days, while thunderstorms with lightning are anticipated over North Interior Karnataka from October 8, the Lakshadweep region and Coastal Karnataka for the next two to three days, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam for five days, and Rayalaseema from October 8 to 10.In the case of North West India, isolated thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds will cause rain at isolated locations in Uttarakhand on October 8. In Eastern India, light to moderate rainfall is predicted to occur at isolated places in the Gangetic plains from October 8 to 10, and in the Sub Himalayan West Bengal region, and Sikkim on October 8, and in Odisha from 9 to 11 October.Regarding the Northeast region of India, the period from October 8 to 10 will bring the possibility of heavy rainfall to isolated pockets of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, and to Arunachal Pradesh on the 10th.
