Former England captain Michael Vaughan has voiced strong concerns regarding the national team aggressive batting approach known as Bazball. According to Vaughan while the Bazball strategy brought initial success it is now becoming a liability in challenging conditions where sound technique is required. The former captain emphasized that the players must recognize when to attack and when to defend to ensure long term success in the longest format of the game. He warned that sticking blindly to an ultra aggressive mindset could lead to further inconsistent performances and defeats. Vaughan believes that balancing aggression with traditional cricket skills is the only way forward for the current England side.
