Missing patients from Muzaffarpur hospital fire, how did they end up in private hospitals

Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : After the fire broke out at Prasad Hospital, in Brahmpura police station area of Muzaffarpur many patients of the hospital were found missing in the chaos. Getting the news of a dozen-odd patients going missing after the mishap, family members became restless and began to search for them. On the direction of DM and SSP, a special team comprising police and health department members reached various hospitals of the city and began searching for patients. So far, five patients have died in the accident. CM Samrat Chaudhary has expressed arrangements made for treatment of the injured in the Sadar hospital and SKMCH. But many patients were found admitted in the private hospitals. A Nepali pregnant woman was found in private hospital of Juran Chapra. Baby died.Brajnandan Rai, 70, a resident of Pakahi village in the Maniyari police station area, is also missing. Brajnandan Rai was admitted to Prasad hospital after being injured in the road accident and a surgery of him was scheduled to be held today. According to his son Vijay Kumar, Brajnandan Rai has been missing since the fire occurred. The team from the administration then informed him that he was admitted in private hospital situated at Darbhanga Road. The team then rushed to that place.The baby of a Nepali pregnant woman lost her lifeTwo patients of Prasad Hospital have been admitted to Kavach Hospital, located at Juran Chhapra Road No. 3. Among them Renu Devi, 35, of Jaleshwor in Mahottari district of Nepal was pregnant and lost the foetus after being involved in the mishap. Renu Devi has been critically injured and kept at the ICU. Girija Devi, 79, resident of Mithanpura, is also at the ICU at a critical stage.One died on the hospital premisesJyoti Sah, 24, and Kameshwar Singh, 50, have been admitted at Prashant Memorial Charitable Trust Hospital at Juran Chhapra Road No. 3. Hospital authorities said both patients are under the stable condition. Two patients were also brought to Asav Hospital on Juran Chhapra main road. Hospital employees said that one died at the hospital gate itself, on the spot, and the body was rushed to SKMCH, while second patient was shifted to some other hospital by the relatives upon seeing the poor condition of the latter, hence the identity of both the patients could not be registered.
