The inauguration was part of a broader development initiative spanning four rural settlements across the Narnaul legislative constituency on Thursday. Designed to fortify rural road links, community gathering spaces, and essential drinking water supply systems, the newly dedicated projects provide direct infrastructural upgrades for everyday living in Mahendragarh district.Key Project Allocations: Roads, SC Chaupal Renovation, and Water SecurityProviding an official breakdown of the developmental expenditures, the MLA’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Rajesh Yadav, outlined the key public works completed in Nangal Katha:Cremation Ground Upgrades: A dedicated allocation of ₹10 lakh has funded the construction of a secure boundary wall and an overhead water storage tank at the village cremation grounds.SC Chaupal Renovation: The community Scheduled Caste (SC) Chaupal has undergone structural repairs and modernization at a sanctioned cost of ₹4.16 lakh.Paved Road Corridors: A major arterial stretch from Hanuman Chowk leading to the SC Chaupal was reconstructed with an outlay of ₹16.30 lakh, while link roads connecting Baba Megha to Phool Singh's residence (₹2.46 lakh) and Krishna Mandir to Raghuveer’s residence (₹2 lakh) were fully metalled.Together, these five anchor projects accounted for ₹34.92 lakh, while supplemental village development works amounting to approximately ₹62 lakh were executed across various lanes and public utilities. The initiatives were financed through targeted rural funds under the Haryana Rural Development Fund (HRDF), Haryana Gramin Vikas Yojana (HGVY), and District Plan (DPLAN) schemes.Ensuring Rural Parity: Officials Commit to Continuous Civic ExpansionAddressing the village gathering alongside administrative officials—including Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Pradeep Yadav and Junior Engineer Harish—MLA Om Prakash Yadav emphasized that modernizing rural infrastructure remains an absolute governance priority.
