
FASTag Annual Pass: If you are a frequent traveler on a National Highway and get annoyed with the long queues at the toll booths, then you are in for some good news. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) is set to introduce the FASTag Annual Pass on August 15, 2025. With this pass, you would be able to travel toll-free on National Highways and Expressways and make 200 trips for just Rs 3,000.This new pass will be a major convenience since you will save time and will not have to go through the hustle of recharging FASTag multiple times. After making the payment of Rs 3,000, your car, jeep, or van will get toll-free access on national highways and expressways for the whole year with a cap of 200 trips.When and how will it be activated?This pass will be activated from 15 August 2025.Activation will be on Rajmargyatra mobile app or NHAI website.Confirm your vehicle’s registration number along with the FASTag details for your vehicle.Your pass will be activated in two hours and you will receive an SMS notification after paying Rs 3,000.Where the pass will be valid:At NHAI’s National Highway and National Expressway toll plazas only.This pass will not work in any state highways or city tolls or city parking areas.
