
Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : The moment the video went viral the police made him apologise, while holding his ears. A conspiracy to create a rift between communities has been unearthed in Panipat. In the Sanauli village, a young man, eager for easy popularity andviralityon social media, made a video and posted it stating "I have come to take over the mosque" and gave the whole recording a communal tinge. After almost two days of intensive searching, the young man was caught and he pleaded with society to maintain peace and forgive his blunders.According to police information, the young accused went to the mosque in Sanauli village and seeing it empty he decided to record a provocative video for social media. The video, recorded by turning on mobile phone recording while standing outside the mosque's main gate. The young man could be seen saying 'Jai Shri Ram brothers, today we have come to take over the mosque' and then he walked boldly into the mosque. He then raised his voice shouting 'Anyone here? I have come to take over today'.With the instant virality of the video, a ripple effect was observed throughout Sanauli village and other areas of Panipat district. Soon, many organizations sprang into action to prevent riots or violence between the communities. Youths and intellectuals worked tirelessly for two days straight to identify the accused from the video. After the long search, the accused youth was finally apprehended and he admitted his mistake in front of religious leaders and the community.The young man made a viral video of himself taking over the mosque to garner publicity.When confronted about the shameful act with religious leaders of Sanauli village and Deepak of Saudhapur village, he confessed that there was no enmity with the mosque but only to make his video go viral overnight. He was very apologetic and promised that such actions would never be repeated. However, many were disappointed with the young man’s insensitive act as such provocative videos could have triggered riots and major communal disturbances between Hindus and Muslims.The young man, realizing the gravity of his stupid act after being held, apologized before society for the blunder and urged for forgiveness saying, "I hope whatever mistake I have done will not impact Hindu-Muslim brotherhood and unity will prevail at all times. I will never do this in the future." The elders and social organizations in the area severely warned him not to repeat such a mistake.The Maulan withdrew his complaint after his apology.Police in-charge, Sanauli, Ajay Kumar, while stating that the event took place during Eid, informed that the video was reported and a complaint was filed by the imam of the mosque. Following which police launched a search for the person involved and found him the next day. After a confrontation between both parties, Deepak, who made the video, tendered an apology and confessed his addiction to drugs for which he indulged in such activity for the views. He expressed his sorrow for his stupid action and apologised to all. The complainants also apologised to him after this, and his complaint was taken back.
