Pilgrimage Ends in Tragedy: Two Devotees Collapse and Die in Vrindavan Temples
Two devotees, who had traveled to the holy city of Vrindavan for pilgrimage, passed away after their health suddenly deteriorated while visiting prominent temples. The separate incidents have cast a shadow of sorrow over the sacred sites.In the first case, a 65-year-old devotee from Shahdara, Delhi, named Shila Devi, fell ill while offering prayers at the famous Banke Bihari temple. She was visiting with her family and suddenly complained of breathlessness before fainting. Family members and temple security quickly moved her to a nearby hospital, but doctors were unable to revive her and declared her deceased.A similar incident occurred at Prem Mandir, where another devotee, 45-year-old Balveer Singh from Mainpuri, unexpectedly fainted. Onlookers and temple staff promptly arranged for him to be taken to a hospital for urgent medical attention. Despite the efforts of the medical team, he was also declared dead upon arrival. The families of both deceased devotees have been informed, and local authorities are handling the necessary formalities.
