
Annual Fastag Toll Pass: Toll pass users have a new update for the pass of Rs 3000. It's been revealed that the registration link for this scheme will be available from 4th August for the Annual Fastag toll pass recharge from 3000 to 4500. An official from the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways informed that the link will be available on the Rajmargyatra mobile application and the NHAI website from August 4.This pass will allow users to avoid toll fees at 200 toll plazas for the annual fee of Rs 3000. Users will be able to upgrade the annual pass and link it to their existing Fastag. This system will be available to users from 15 August as per the announcement from Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari last month.Scheme Review Meeting As per available information, a review session was conducted with all stakeholders two days ago. All of its core elements were analyzed ranging from considerations to are implementation strategies. Everything was discussed in details to the fulfillment of each agenda. Some adjustments were made with the conclusive decision to initiate the link activation on August 4. Hence, from August 15, users enrolled with the annual toll pass facility would be able to recharge it in their respective Fastags. 30 banks included At the moment, the service has onboarded 30 banks. It was also communicated at the time of announcement that the usage of the toll pass would be limited to the toll nakas on NHAI’s National Highways (NH) and National Expressways (NE) only. It can be recharged with a base amount of 3000, it’s one year usage period would allow for crossing 200 toll nakas.How will the new toll pass scheme workYou will have to pay Rs 3000 to recharge your existing FASTag for the annual Fastag toll pass scheme. Your FASTag must not be blacklisted and its e-KYC done. Otherwise, the recharge won't work. After the recharged amount is consumed, starting August 15, 2025, you will have access to 200 toll free naka crossings for a year. Where will the Rs 3000 pass be valid The Rs 3000 toll pass will also be valid to only NHAI and NE. You will still be required to make payments at toll booths run by states or private companies through FASTag. How will it be recharged? Currently, the annual Fastag toll pass recharge will not be through UPI or netbanking. You will have to wait for the link to be activated on NHAI website or Rajway Yatra mobile app on August 4. Any other phone calls or messages must be ignored.
