Rural students have been financially empowered through the 'Baba Saheb and Ambedkar Movement Promotion Scheme' and the Mahasabha: Keshav Prasad Maurya

Keshav Prasad Maurya has directed officials of the Rural Development Department to ensure the widespread promotion of the 'Baba Saheb Ambedkar Rozgar Protsahan Yojana' so that it reaches every village in the state; he also instructed that special awareness and outreach campaigns be conducted at the Gram Panchayat level to ensure the scheme's benefits reach genuinely eligible individuals. Youth in villages should be informed about the scheme's provisions and eligibility criteria through public awareness programs and other channels. He emphasized that merely implementing the scheme on paper is insufficient; its actual benefits must reach the intended beneficiaries.He stated that identifying eligible individuals in rural areas and connecting them to the scheme should be a primary responsibility of the officials. Through this scheme, rural youth will gain self-employment opportunities, leading to increased income and enabling them to strengthen their families' financial standing. The 'double-engine' BJP government is fully committed to making youth and rural women employable and economically empowered. The government is continuously striving to provide maximum employment and self-employment opportunities to rural residents, ensuring they do not have to migrate to cities in search of work and can instead lead self-reliant lives within their own villages.
