So, all this had to be done for the scene in the film where Munni is eating chicken with great gusto. For this scene, director Kabir Khan instructed Munni, Harshali Malhotra, to chew the non-veg while looking at the camera. According to Manoj Bakshi, sometimes a large piece of non-veg would end up in Harshali's mouth, which she couldn't chew, leaving her mouth full.So that Harshaali wouldn't have to repeatedly leave the scene to spit, Salman extended his hand and said, "Spit, son."
