
In the current era, remembering to carry your card isn’t a problem for customers of Since State Bank of India (SBI). Whether it's a forgotten card or worries about its theft, SBI enables both safe and easy cash withdrawals through their ATMs without physical debit cards. Customers can withdraw funds through YONO Cash and UPI QR Cash. After its launch in 2019, YONO Cash has received multiple upgrades, and now its supported at more than 16,500 SBI ATMs across the country, becoming a reliable option for cashless transactions. Withdrawing Cash With YONO Cash: The steps for cardless cash withdrawal via YONO Cash revolves around safety and convenience: Initiate in the App: Log into your YONO SBI app or YONO Lite app using the 6-digit MPIN or User ID and password. Navigate to YONO Pay: Click “YONO Pay” on the homepage and select the “YONO Cash” tab. Choose Account and Enter Details: Selecting the account for withdrawal, input the amount desired and in addition, to the withdrawal sum, set a unique 6-digit YONO Cash PIN.Receive Transaction Reference: Confirmation brings a summary of the transaction which includes a six digit transaction reference number which will be sent through email and SMS to the registered mobile number. This reference number will be valid for four hours. Hence, it is important to go to the ATM during this time(for the maximum).Withdraw at the ATM: Go to any of the SBI ATMs, and click on the YONO Cash option. You will be asked for the transaction reference number, the cash amount, and YONO Cash PIN to be entered. The ATM will give the cash once everything is checked. SMS and app alerts will be sent for cash withdrawal completion.Cash withdrawal through UPI QR:There is a different way to access cash through UPI QR codes.Under 'Cash Withdrawal', open the YONO app and input the desired amount to withdraw.This will result in a QR code.Visit an SBI ATM with UPI access, go to QR code option to scan the code which you generated earlier, and type in your UPI ID and PIN to finalize the withdrawal and get the cash.Crucial Security and Transaction Information:SBI warns customers not to share the transaction reference number or the YONO Cash PIN with anyone. In the event of a transaction failure, any amount that is withdrawn will usually be refunded back to your account within about 7 days. Daily Withdrawal Limits:The service offers a daily withdrawal limit of ₹20,000. In a single transaction, the minimum withdrawal limit is ₹500 and the maximum limit is ₹10,000. Also, keep in mind that the transaction reference number created using the app is only active for 4 hours.
