Bhopal: State Level Nishad Raj Conference: As per the information shared by Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, the Government aims at giving prosperity and self-reliance to the fishermen community along with respecting them, through modern technology, safety measures and training. Now, the entire country is looking at Madhya Pradesh as a role model for Blue Revolution. Chief Minister Dr Yadav will be present at the state level Nishadraj Sammelan that will take place in Ujjain on Saturday, 12 July. This will further complement the government initiatives toward earning regard, safety and affluence for the fisher folk. This conference should be termed as historic with respect to social integration of the fishermen and advancement in pisciculture. In the company of Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Narayan Singh Pawar, Ujjain Area Minister Gautam Tetwal and Chair Member of Fishermen Welfare Board Sita Ram Batham, generous distribution of gifts and benefits of the welfare schemes will be conferred to the fishermen.Fisheries and Development Programs To Be Launched By Yadav’s Mother.– 453 Smart Fish Shops (22.65 crores) – Underwater Tunnel and Aqua Park (40 crores) – 3060 Cage Fishing in Indira Sagar Reservoir (91.80 crores) – Distribution of Motor Cycles with Ice Box, 100 units 430 – Single Click Transfer of Deferred Wages 9.63 crores – 9 Crores for award winning fishermen and cooperative societies From Zeros to Heroes: A Fisherman’s Journey in the Modern Era The safety of fishermen is of utmost importance to the state government. Modern control command centers outfitted with drones, GPS, and CCTV are being installed in reservoirs like Indira Sagar that permit 24x7 monitoring, boat tracking, and quick emergency aid. In Gandhi Sagar and Indira Sagar, 5 transit houses and 2 floating platforms will be constructed. Fishermen will have access to solar mobile charging, bio toilets, and emergency night rest. Under the FIDF scheme, a boatman training institute will be built in Bhopal for ₹5 crores providing education in cage culture, biofloc, RAS technology, and fish processing.Social harmony celebration devoted to Nishadraja: Minister Narayan Singh Pawar The state Nishadraj Sammelan is being held on the sacred land of Ujjain which is a significant step towards fulfilling the esteem of the Nishad community and their cultural heritage. Asserting that this is a historic event for Nishadraj, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) Pawar added that this event is a living testimony of dedication, equality and service. He further explained that the alliance of Shri Ram and Nishadraj remains one of the most remarkable tales of social harmony in the present day. The old memories and the future of Bhopal merge with the new Aqua Park Bhopal is about to be blessed with a new Aqua Park. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will virtually perform the Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of this Aqua Park which promises to rejuvenate the old aquarium located at the heart of Bhopal. Last year, the state achieved 98 percent of the set fish production goal which was 3.81 lakh metric tons. In the state, 2595 registered fishermen cooperative societies with a total of 95,417 members, practicing fish farming were recorded.1.45 lakh Fisherman Kisan Credit Cards sanctioned.Madhya Pradesh leads all inland states in the issuance of credit cards to fisherman. Through fish farming in the state, over 2 crore 75 lakh man days of employment were created. Strong strides were made towards self-sufficiency in the fisheries sector by the state due to the production of over 217 crore fish seeds last year.
