Teacher suspended for participating in Cockroach Party protest "reinstated, victory for the Chief Justice"

Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : The guest teacher of Haryana, who was suspended from her job on account of her presence at Cockroach Party protest, has been reinstated, Chief Justice declared it a win. Sulekha Dalal, who is a supporter of Cockroach Party, was seen participating in protest at Jantar Mantar on June 6.Sulekha Dalal, guest teacher in a government school in Rohtak, Haryana and an alleged supporter of Cockroach Party, has been reinstated after her suspension was revoked. Sulekha had been suspended after she took part in the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on June 6.CJP spokesperson Saurabh Das stated that the order of suspension against Haryana teacher and party supporter Sulekha Dalal stands withdrawn after its strong condemnation by the Cockroach Janata Party. The suspension notice had been issued on Wednesday (June 10). Later on, however, Saurabh Das posted a tweet, stating, "Extremely happy to inform you all that Sulekha Dalal has been reinstated. It is a win for every teacher, student & citizen, that no one should be punished for standing with youth & asking questions peacefully."It may be mentioned that the District Primary Education Officer of Rohtak had on Wednesday issued a suspension order against teacher Sulekha Dalal with effect from June 8. However, the reason of suspension was not stated. The order further said, "During her period of suspension the Rohtak Division Education Officer Office will be her head quarter, and she will not be allowed to leave office without permission."The CJP termed the incident as 'attack on fundamental rights'.Soon after the incident surfaced, the CJP had expressed its objection over the suspension order by issuing a statement on its social media handles. It was stated that, "The decision to suspend teacher Sulekha Dalal for her solidarity with a peaceful protest against exam irregularities is a direct attack on every citizen's constitutional right to speak, assemble, question and express dissent."Sulekha's video surfaced from Jantar MantarA video clip surfaced in the aftermath of the suspension order where Sulekha Dalal was seen addressing the gathering at the CJP protest. It was reported that Sulekha was heard saying, "This is a fight, this is do-or-die this time, now the 'mother of cockroaches' has also jumped in. We are not any group we are with our children, mother is mother to the nation".Sulekha said, 'Reason of suspension was not given'When asked about her suspension, Dalal told the news agency that she was unaware of the reason behind her suspension. "I am a teacher for so many years. I didn't know I cannot join the protest. They should have told me why I am suspended," she said.She further added, "My son is graduate, so he is affected as he appeared in the recruitments test. How will the questions of exam manipulation not affect me and my son as a parent. I was standing at the protest just as mother. Everything I stated was the agony of a mother, and I am not related to any political party or organisation."
