Ardaas was offered by Bhai Prem Singh, while the sacred Hukamnama was recited to the Sangat by Granthi Singh Sahib Giani Baljit Singh of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib.On this occasion, Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgajj, while wishing the Sangat on the occasion of Prakash Parv, threw light on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji.Talk about the martyrdom of Shri Guru Arjan Dev JiHe said that the Sixth Guru gave a unique doctrine of Miri-Piri and Bhakti-Shakti, an example of which is unparalleled in religious history. After the martyrdom of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, Guru Sahib wore two swords, conveying the message that Sikhs must not only be devoted to devotion but also stand firmly against injustice and oppression.He said that to give concrete shape to this principle, Guru Sahib, with the help of Baba Budha Sahib Ji and Bhai Gurdas Ji, established Sri Akal Takht Sahib with his own hands, which today is the centre of supreme religious and sectarian guidance for Sikhs all over the world.Giani Gadgaj said that Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji fought four wars against oppression and won and proved that the power of truth, justice and religion is greater than any empire.He said that at a time when common people were prohibited from wearing turbans, carrying weapons and riding horses, Guru Sahib ordered the Sikhs to become turban-wearers, weapon-bearers and saint-soldiers.He said that even today, by questioning the kirpan and other Sikh karas, a direct attack is being made on the dignity bestowed by Guru Sahib and the religious rights of Sikhs, which the Sikh community will never accept. He said that Sri Akal Takht Sahib is the Guru's throne and that forces that challenged it have been confined to the pages of history.'The true allegiance of the Sikhs is linked to Sri Akal Takht Sahib'Many tyrants like Nadir Shah, Ahmad Shah Abdali, and Zakaria Khan have come and gone, but this throne of truth remains unshaken and will always remain so. The true allegiance of Sikhs lies with Sri Akal Takht Sahib, and the entire community accepts with bowed heads every decree and message issued from here.The Jathedar urged the Sangat to connect more strongly with the Guru Granth Sahib and the Guru Panth on the occasion of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib's Prakash Parv, connect the new generation with Gurmat, Gurbani, and Sikh history, and strengthen Panthic unity under the leadership of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He urged the entire Khalsa Panth to follow the path of Miri-Piri shown by Guru Sahib and firmly uphold the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.A large number of devotees including Chief Granthi of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Gurmukh Singh, member of Dharam Prachar Samiti Bhai Ajab Singh, Secretary of Shiromani Committee Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, Additional Secretary Bhagwant Singh Dhangera, Manager of Sri Darbar Sahib Major Singh, Superintendent Nishan Singh and Malkit Singh Bahidwal, Additional Manager Bikramjit Singh, Gurinder Singh Devidaspura were present in the function.
