Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : The three-day written examination to recruit candidates for constables in civil police and equivalent ranks for the Uttar Pradesh Police began Monday. For direct recruitment of 32,679 constables, 28.86 lakh applications had been received. The government has made sure that the exam ends with success.No unwelcome report was received from any examination center of the 1,183 exam centers located across the district in the first shift of the constable Civil Police examination which held from 10 am to 12 noon. The candidates themselves admitted that there was nothing objectionable about any question in the exam. Most of the questions were quite simple with not more than 45 to 50 reasoning questions.8 exam centers in BandaThe Constable Civil Police examination was conducted amid tight security in Banda with 21,888 candidates appearing at the eight exam centers where the administration had ensured all preparations including security arrangements at the examination center and also easy commuting with traffic police and Home Guard officials posted from the border to all the important intersections of the district along with the help desks set up at railway and bus stations.All the candidates entered the exam centers after a stringent checking. As many as 1,183 examination centers have been set up in all the districts for the exam which would be conducted on June 8, 9 and 10. For each shift, 4.81 lakh candidates have been provided with the hall ticket by the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board to write the written examination which would be conducted in two shifts.There will be as many as 9.6 lakh candidates participating in the written exam across the state on Monday while instructions to the recruitment board from the government are to never let the exam lose its sanctity at any cost, with personnel of the police department and also recruitment board all being attentive towards conducting the exam to fill over 32,000 posts ahead of the assembly elections.
