UP Government Releases ₹15.43 Crore Under Project Alankar to Revamp Dilapidated Secondary School Buildings Across the State

In a major push toward strengthening educational infrastructure and providing modern facilities to students, the Uttar Pradesh government has officially sanctioned and released over ₹15.43 crore under 'Project Alankar'. Aimed at the comprehensive reconstruction, repair, and completion of dilapidated, unsafe, or unfinished secondary school buildings, this strategic financial allocation seeks to transform government-run academic institutions into safe, vibrant, and well-equipped centers of learning across various districts.Major Allocations for Government Girls Inter Colleges in Bijnor and ChitrakootUnder this fresh tranche of funding, substantial financial packages have been greenlit for major infrastructural overhauls. A significant allocation of ₹6.97 crore has been approved for the complete reconstruction of the severely dilapidated and unusable building at the Government Girls Inter College in Sarkada, Bijnor. Additionally, the Government Girls Inter College in Manikpur has been granted ₹5.75 crore, with an immediate first installment of ₹2.75 crore released to jumpstart construction. Meanwhile, ₹4.11 crore has been dedicated to finalizing the long-pending incomplete school building structure at the Government Girls Inter College in Rajapur.Boosting Infrastructure Across Etawah, Gorakhpur, and Regional CampusesBeyond the major college overhauls, several other regional institutions have received critical financial backing under the first installment scheme to expedite pending infrastructure work. Prominent schools including Chaudhary Jawahar Singh Inter College in Sutiani (Etawah), along with multiple institutions across Gorakhpur such as Government Inter College (Bauliya Railway Colony), JP Inter College (Campierganj), Rashtriya Kanya Inter College (Mahuappar), Indira Gandhi Higher Secondary School (Jaswal Bazaar), Kisan Inter College (Bhupgarh), Sarvodaya Kisan Inter College (Kaudiram), and Shri Rishidevdas Inter College (Bansgaon), have collectively been disbursed ₹1.59 crore. State education authorities have emphasized that these funds will accelerate vital repair schedules, ensuring students enjoy a safe and conducive learning environment.
