UPSRTC Rolls Out 20 Special Delhi Buses from Amroha with ₹4,800 Crew Incentive

Gearing up for the massive travel rush ahead of the festive season, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has finalized an extensive operational blueprint to ensure seamless intercity travel for thousands of passengers commuting between Western Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Region. Under the festival transit action plan, the roadways administration has arranged a dedicated fleet of 20 buses operating specifically on the high-demand Delhi corridor from the Amroha depot, effectively eliminating passenger bottlenecks during the peak travel window spanning from November 6 to November 17, 2026. Concurrently, regional authorities have augmented service frequencies along short-distance local routes connecting surrounding tehsils and rural centers to maintain round-the-clock connectivity across the district.Fleet Mobilization from Amroha Depot: 100 Buses Deployed as Delhi Services Rise to 20To handle the surge of homeward-bound travelers, the Amroha roadways depot will mobilize its complete operational strength of 100 buses across diverse regional corridors. The expanded fleet comprises 80 corporation-owned vehicles alongside 20 contracted carriers to accommodate peak-hour footfalls. While the Amroha depot typically operates 12 scheduled buses to Delhi, transport officials will inject eight additional vehicles into the route beginning November 6, raising the total number of dedicated capital-bound departures to 20 per day. Local feeder links will also see increased trip frequencies, guaranteeing that travelers arriving from long-distance hubs can secure immediate onward connections into regional towns and interior villages throughout the festivities.Leave Cancelled for Field Staff: Tiered Incentive Packages Offer Up to ₹4,800 BonusTo maintain maximum fleet operationality and prevent crew shortages, the transport corporation has temporarily suspended all casual and privilege leaves for drivers and conductors for the duration of the twelve-day festival schedule. In recognition of the demanding duty hours, UPSRTC has introduced an incentive scheme offering ₹400 per day for operational crew members who meet daily route targets, an allowance extended uniformly across regular employees, contractual staff, and outsourced personnel. Under the performance bonus framework, drivers and conductors completing 11 continuous operational days will secure a lump-sum reward of ₹4,400, while staff members who fulfill the entire 12-day roster and achieve designated kilometer thresholds will receive an incentive package of up to ₹4,800.
