Yogi Adityanath Cabinet Approves 25 Key Proposals Including New Bridges for Prayagraj and Bhadohi

The Uttar Pradesh cabinet led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken significant strides in boosting the state's infrastructure and education sector by approving twenty five crucial proposals during a recent meeting in Lucknow. One of the standout decisions involves the construction of major bridges over the River Ganga which aims to enhance connectivity in the Prayagraj and Bhadohi districts considerably In Prayagraj the government has cleared the construction of a four lane segmental box girder bridge connecting Salori Hetapatti and Jhunsi which will also feature a footpath for pedestrians easing traffic congestion and facilitating smoother movement for locals and pilgrims alike. Simultaneously in Bhadohi the cabinet approved a long bridge near the Mata Sita Samahit Sthal in Sitamarhi which will replace the existing pontoon bridge and provide a permanent and safe passage over the river thereby resolving long standing commuting issues for the region. Beyond infrastructure the cabinet also addressed the educational welfare of the minority communities by clearing proposals related to the salaries of Madrasa teachers ensuring they receive their due remuneration which had been a persistent demand. The meeting also paved the way for higher education expansion with the decision to upgrade the Kashi Naresh Government Post Graduate College in Bhadohi to the status of a university to be known as Kashi Naresh University Furthermore the cabinet gave its nod for the establishment of Swami Shukdevanand University in Shahjahanpur by integrating various units of the Mumukshu Ashram Trust and also approved a new university in Gorakhpur dedicated to forestry and horticulture. These comprehensive decisions which also include the approval of the supplementary budget for the upcoming financial year underscore the governments commitment to holistic development across various sectors in the state.
