BigBasket, the popular online grocery platform, is one of the first retailers to get on boardThis means you could ask ChatGPT to help you order ingredients for a recipe, and it would then check BigBasket's offerings, suggest products, and once you confirm, it will complete the purchase using Razorpay's payment system The process is designed to be seamless, with real-time tracking and the ability to cancel the transaction instantly.This integration aims to make online shopping a more natural and conversational experience.Major banks like Axis Bank and Airtel Payments Bank are also part of this pilot program.While this new "Agentic Payments" feature is still in its early stages, it signals a major step toward a future where AI assistants can manage more of our daily tasks, including shopping and payments, in a simple and secure way.
