Bangladesh Violence: The atrocities on Hindus in India's neighboring country Bangladesh are not stopping. Amid the ongoing protests and violence in Chittagong, a sloganeering mob has vandalized three Hindu temples. The attack took place in the Harish Chandra Munsef Lane area at around 2.30 pm on Friday. Santaneshwar Matri Mandir, Shoni Mandir, and Shantaneshwari Kalibari Mandir were targeted. On the other hand, a few days after the arrest of Hindu spiritual guru Chinmay Krishna Das, another Hindu priest was arrested in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The arrested priest was identified as Shyam Das Prabhu, who had reportedly visited Chinmay Krishna Das in jail.

Sources said he was arrested without any official warrant, which is a rule of arrest in Bangladesh that allows authorities to detain and later release someone. Radharaman Das, vice-president and spokesperson of ISKCON Kolkata, also posted about the monk's arrest on Twitter on Friday and said, "Another Brahmachari Sri Shyama Das Prabhu arrested today by Chattogram police." Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das, a former member of Bangladesh's International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), was arrested on Monday in a sedition case.
